Privacy Policy

Who we are

FuelCast is built by Mountain Fold Architecture, based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for any personal information you choose to provide to us. You can contact us at software@mountainfold.uk.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party:

• Your preferences: distance units (kilometres or miles), your optional body weight, your optional Functional Threshold Power (FTP)
• Custom fuel items you add
• Which fuels you have used recently, so they appear first in the picker
• Whether you have accepted the in-app disclaimer

All of this is stored using the device's standard local storage. Uninstalling the app removes it. You can also clear it at any time using Reset App in Settings.

Information you choose to send us

If you use the Provide Feedback form in Settings, the following is transmitted to us and stored in a private Google Sheet that only we can access:

• The feedback text you wrote
• The category you selected
• Your name (optional)
• Your email address (optional)
• The operating system your device is running (iOS or Android) and the FuelCast version

We use this information only to read and act on your feedback. We do not share it with anyone. We keep feedback submissions indefinitely unless you ask us to delete your submission.

Use of the feedback form is entirely optional. You can use every feature of FuelCast without ever sending us anything.

We use Google services to receive and store feedback submissions. Google's own privacy terms apply to their infrastructure; see policies.google.com/privacy.

What we do not do

To be explicit about what is not happening:

• We do not use analytics or tracking tools of any kind (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar)
• We do not show advertisements
• We do not share or sell data to third parties
• We do not use cookies (the app has no web component)
• We do not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, or any data outside the app itself
• We do not create accounts, and there are no logins

Your rights under UK GDPR

If you have sent us feedback with identifying information (a name or email address), you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Ask us to stop processing it
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email us at software@mountainfold.uk with enough information for us to find your submission (for example, the rough date and the email address you used). If you are outside the UK, equivalent rights may apply under your local data protection law.

Children

FuelCast is intended for adults participating in endurance sport. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us feedback, please email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
